With the initial rollout of the Nissan LEAF to specific areas in the US, it’s been announced that the battery in the LEAF will have an 8 year / 100,000 mile warranty. The coverage matches the warranty coverage GM recently announced for the Chevy Volt, the electric hybrid vehicle.
